NMM, Mod Organizer and Vortex can alert you to missing masters, which is what the problem was. Also, that step with the Windows Grep tool was unnecessary and not very informative. esp doesn't even exist, so that error would always happen. For one thing, the Papyrus log is not a crash log and is not very useful for finding crashes. It's not a good method for diagnosing crashes at all, and the author basically solved it by fluke (Dragonborn wasn't installed). In the article it mentions if you use mod organizer but what do i do if i have vortex? Or if anybody just has another way to diagnose my problem without having to load it up multiple times with different mods enabled, that would take too much time. This tool will apparently give me the information to determine which mod the crash is being caused by.
I was looking up directions on how to diagnose mod issues on and it says to click on tools then select ini editor. I've tried reloading to before i even left the inn and I've tried disabling various mods but it always crashes in the same circumstance. I can spend as much time in the center area of riften for as long as i want to but the second i decide to transition 'rooms' but using the doors it crashes on the loading screen. I leave the building and everything is fine. This particular character is starting at the riften inn. I load up and edit all of my MCM things and everything is fine. When ever i start a new game everything is fine.
